Stars of the Past is the soundtrack to The Ten Realms, a location reached after a month of space travel.
The Ten Realms are 10 supergiants that are located at the galactic edge, through brief research it's unsure if the stars were formed here, or moved by some unknown means.

[CLASSIFIED BRIEFING] "This message is designed to play after reaching The 10 Realms.
You have been sent to this location because Earth's long range satellites picked up unidentified signal noise. The most interesting part is that buried in the signal was a pattern of distorted life sign signals, at what we believe to be 86 million years old.
Although it is most likely that sentient life will not be found here, you are to bring back anything that suggests pre existing life, artefacts, information, molecular data. anything will help us understand what exactly was out there and why it was so close to the galactic edge."
